As our world continues to spin more and more out of control and the return of Christ draws ever nearer, a multitude of changes will occur at a dizzying rate. In fact, this is already the case. Shameless cultural beliefs and behavior which would have been reproached a generation ago are now the accepted norms. Who knows what our world will look like a decade or two from now.
But despite all that will befall our planet – and especially believers in Christ – it is both wonderful and assuring to know that our God is eternal, unchanging, and enduring. Let these words from Psalm 119:89-91 bring you comfort and confidence this day.
Your word, Lord, is eternal;
it stands in the heavens.
Your faithfulness continues through all generations;
you established the earth, and it endures.
Your laws endure to this day,
For all things serve you.
Amen, and come soon, Lord Jesus!

Thank you for your words here. They remind me of the hope we have in Jesus. I don’t know if you will remember me or not, but I used to write on WordPress several years ago. Where I cannot say I’ve regained the desire to write again, I wanted to come back and find encouragement in these increasingly perilous times. And you most definitely have brought me that. Again, I thank you.

Hi Marisa, I indeed do remember you, and notice you have been “liking” my blogs for several weeks now. I was happy to see you return, and would love to see you resume writing eventually. I hope all is going well with you and the family.
Since we last had contact, I have become a grandfather (Zac is now 2 years old) and loving it!

Nice to be remembered.☺ Perhaps, if God plants something in my heart to say, I could venture back into the written word. Something to pray about…And congratulations! How wonderful! Kids are such a blessing! I’m sure you’re a terrific grandpa! All ours are doing well, enjoying school, and growing up fast!
