Censorship and the Countdown to Antichrist

Shutting Down
Here at Zion’s Hope Inc., just outside of Orlando, Florida, we had a long meeting regarding social media. This was sparked, of course, by the tech-media giants’ attack on Parler and other conservative social media platforms.

Things never dreamed of in the lifetimes of Americans above age 50 have been occurring over the past year, and they continue to escalate. We are seeing censorship on a level never before imagined – starting, of all people, with the President! And if the President of the U.S. can be shut down, then anyone can be shut down, including Christian ministries.

Our purpose at Zion’s Hope is to reach Jewish people worldwide with the message that Jesus Christ is their long-awaited Messiah, and that salvation for their souls comes only through Him. We communicate this message via our 60,000-circulation magazine, Zion’s Fire; Facebook; Twitter; and YouTube. It is those last three which deeply concern us.

As of now, these social media conglomerates are not shutting down communications of Christian organizations, but – because of many Christian organizations’ association with conservative politics – it is only a matter of time.

The Coming Antichrist
Besides sharing the Gospel with the Jewish people, Zion’s Hope also teaches extensively on the End Times, which includes the punishment and eventual redemption of the nation of Israel; the return of Christ and the Rapture of the Church; and the judgment of Earth by Christ.

And one more thing we teach about: the emerging of the Antichrist. We believe he is now in the world and is quietly biding his time until he will be empowered by Satan to take his place as world ruler.

And when he does, he will tolerate no opposition on any level – political or religious. You can read about what he will be like in Daniel 11:36-45, and Revelation 13:1-4. And Revelation 13:5-8 says this about him:

The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise its authority for 42 months. It opened its mouth to blaspheme God, and to slander his name and his dwelling place and those who live in heaven. It was given power to wage war against God’s holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast – all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

Note several things. First, the Antichrist will be a politician who outwardly, gleefully, and shamelessly will blaspheme the God of the Bible. And the people of Earth will love this about him.

Second, he will be given the power and authority (from Satan and then smaller world governments and political councils) to make all-out war against Christians (“God’s holy people”) and kill (“conquer”) them. He will also be given carte blanche to kill all the Jewish people (“tribe”) who won’t accept him, and finally anyone (“people, language and nation”) who won’t bow the knee to him.

Third, he will, in the minds of the unsaved, be a god as he will be worshiped.

This is a man ­– a satanically-empowered man, but a man nonetheless – who will accept nothing less than total obedience, and will forbid free speech except for that which exalts him. Speaking against him will result in death.

Setting the Stage
It is this aspect of the Antichrist – the forbidding of free speech – which is now having the greatest overtones in the West. Incredibly, we are seeing the first blatant seeds of this being planted here in the States. In the coming years, we can expect more and more repression of our free speech in the form of political correctness, cancel culture, social-media blacklists, and imprisonment.

This is where the final world empire is heading, and Satan is already laying out the groundwork for the empowering of his human representative. Censorship has always been one of his greatest tools, and he has scored a major coup in the U.S. by coercing the social media giants to fall in line with it.

But don’t despair, Christian, for just as the stage is being set for the emerging of the Antichrist, so it is also being set for the glorious return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who will crush the Antichrist – and his “sponsor” Satan – under His feet.

Though things are going to get tough for Christians, never forget we are on the winning side, and the day of our redemption draws ever nearer! So fight the good fight Christian, as the very darkening night will at once give way to unimaginable light!
