2 News Items
There were 2 interesting news items this morning.

The first:

Reality television star Caitlyn Jenner announced plans Friday to run for governor of California.
“I’m in! California is worth fighting for,” Jenner tweeted. Jenner, a Republican,
also filed paperwork to seek the governorship and has hired several well-known
Republican operatives to guide her burgeoning campaign.[1]

My reaction: Our sad and confused country continues to spiral more and more out of control.

The second:

NASA and Elon Musk’s commercial rocket company SpaceX launched a new
four-astronaut team on a flight to the International Space Station on Friday,
the first crew ever propelled into orbit by a rocket booster
recycled from a previous spaceflight.[2]

My reaction: Take me with you, please!

But Seriously
I suppose this blog could go in a number of directions, but suffice it to say that though I feel like departing this earth every now and then, I actually want to be here as this age of human history uncoils ever more furiously to its tragic conclusion.

Of course, this tragic conclusion will hasten in the glorious return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

But until both of these events occur, I want to do my part in sharing the message of a loving and marvelous Savior who laid down His life for those perishing in this dark and dying world.

In these end times, I want to be one of those described in Daniel 12:3: “And those who have insight will shine like the glow of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead the many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.”

May we who call ourselves “Christian” embrace these insane times in which we live and endeavor to spread the Good News of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to a world that so desperately needs it!

What about you?
