A Brief But Victorious Message

On someone else’s FB page recently, I read an entry saying how difficult it is to be a Christian in America these days. He noted that everything seems to be against us.

However, it’s all a matter of perspective.

Actually, it is a WONDERFUL day for all Christians as is every day. Why is this? It is always a wonderful day for Christians because God is still on His throne, He is still in control, the actions of men and women cannot change or affect Him, and the promise of the return of the Lord Jesus Christ stands.

Also standing is God’s promise to restore the earth, establish His Millennial Kingdom, and to live among His redeemed for eternity.

As to the blessed hope of the Church, “the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus” [Christ’s return] (Titus 2:13), here are just a few verses to pump up your anticipation (italics added):

• “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven” (Daniel 7:13).
• “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory” (Matthew 24:30).
• “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all peoples on earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

Yes, it is indeed a wonderful day for Christians, so be looking up at those glorious clouds!
